Career boost for our young Shoalhaven professionals - Media Release
Shoalhaven is alive with professional career opportunities. Our experienced and young professionals are an all important part of our community.
The 2021 Shoalhaven Young Professional Mentor Program is now open, accepting applications for both mentors and mentoree participants.
This is an initiative of the Shoalhaven Professional Business Association (spba) and is proudly sponsored by Shoalhaven City Council and supported by the University of Wollongong, Shoalhaven Campus.
The President of spba Anna Finch, encourages young professionals to get involved in this program, as well urging senior business professionals to consider giving back to the professional community by donating their time to help develop a young professional.
‘Let’s face it 2020 has been pretty tough for the Shoalhaven, with environmental disasters and now to top it all off a global pandemic’, she said.
‘This being said spba has made it our mission to act as a consistent voice of hope and inspiration for the Shoalhaven professional community.’
‘We are continuing to dedicate our energy to retaining, developing and attracting professional talent to the Shoalhaven. In fact, in the face of such adversity, we see a huge opportunity to expand our reach’.
‘The Mentor Program is one of the most successful and acclaimed programs offered. Delivering consistently positive results for both mentoree’s and mentors, year after year.’
‘Not only are we developing careers, we are changing Shoalhaven lives.’
